Until we ruin his development by asking him to stop doing what made him so good when we drafted him... typical flyers player management

What an amazing Gold medal game and McTavish is going to be a beast!

Congratulations to Canada!

Also I was pretty impressed with Tyson and look forward to seeing him in a Flyers uniform. That line looked like the Johnson/Stankoven show, but Foerster really did a lot of underrated stuff to show his worth.

Mark Howe the best defenseman in Flyers history. One of the smoothest skaters and tremendous wrist shot. Mark and Brad McCrimmon one of the best top pairing in Flyers history. I think they were both +80 in one or two of their seasons.

This country misses and needs President Trump.
That being said hopefully Trump smartens up and backs Desantis.

Mark Howe was my favorite player when I was growing up
I even modeled my game after his. I've always worn #2 when I played because if Mark Howe. He was, imo, The best defenseman to ever put on a flyers jersey

McTavish is definitely going to be a hell of a player! I didn't realize how talented and skilled that kid is!
Foerester is going to be an impact player for us to, I believe. Let's hope we don't ruin the kid by putting him througj the flyers player development system

When I see support for that villain, that grifter, that amoral sack of poop, our former POTUS, I discover new levels of antipathy.
I have foregone OLD friendships due to this extreme lack of sympathy for him and his supporters.
Mostly it's a lack of understanding, by me, of what they consider important and necessary. Any time I seek to see the basis for their fanatic adherence to this POS, I only see weak-minded, slow-thinking voters who like to fight about what they don't even comprehend. I have no solution for tearing off their blindfolds.
Because their worse attribute is they are willfully ignorant and therefore will never learn and consequently accept ideas at variance with their only true concerns, 'feelings, faith, and beliefs'.
They have accepted the Golden Calf to follow, no matter the consequences.

DeSantis has gotten people to flock to Florida because of the way he governs. Heā€™s a great governor and can do the most good right there. Iā€™ve recently looked into the money behind him and itā€™s caused me some pause. De Santis will get compromised like all the other politicians. He may be a good candidate but he wonā€™t thrive the way he does in Florida.

Politicians should be required to wear sponsor labels on their suit jackets like NASCAR drivers. Then you know who owns them.

Disgusting World Juniors Final. Finland got raped. 7-1 PP advantage for Canada (yet they STILL barely outshot Finland), soft calls, numerous missed calls against Canada (Canada goal 2 was preceeded by an EGREGIOUS Canada interference/check from behind whatever you want to call it that was not called). Just unfortunate a game between two great teams was marred by corrupt/sloppy officiating that clearly favored one side.

Had the roles been reversed Canda would be in riot mode today. Congrats to Finland, hard to overcome what was stacked against you yesterday.

If we are going to review plays I say let teams have the chance to review ANYTHING. Finland would clearly have reviewed Canada goal 2 and instead of Canada with a 2-0 gimme, it would be 1-0 Canada with Finland on the powerplay. Just ridiculous.

Bill, i also would like to know how the team views Andrae. Watched lots of the junior championships and at that level he was impressive, especially for a smaller guy. As an aside, this shouldn't be used as a political forum. Any way you can screen those always annoying posts out?

Theyā€™re all grifters. If they werenā€™t, theyā€™d never seek the job, let alone get it. The gig takes a certain kind of human, and none of them are likely people youā€™d like to spend a few minutes with.

Imo Andraeā€™s ceiling could be something similar to Trevor Daley. Both drafted in the 2nd round with good offensive tools with similar size. I would expect Andrae to struggle defensively in the NHL as Daley did. Even though Daley played in the NHL at 19, I think with proper development, Andrae has the potential to be a comparable.

I didnā€™t remember Daley as being undersized and thatā€™s because he wasnā€™t. I just looked him up. 5ā€™11ā€, 195lbs. So Iā€™m not seeing the comparison. I think Torey Krug, 5ā€™9ā€, 185 is more what we should be hoping for.
